Shane Baronner

Director

Shane Baronner played basketball at Western Branch High School from 2012-15. After graduating with an advanced diploma Shane went on to play college basketball at Penn State-New Kensington from 2015-2017, leading the country in field goal percentage during the 2016-17 season. He then returned home and transferred to Old Dominion University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management in December 2020. Shane has coaching experience with AAU club WB Jaguars 11U (Summer 2016) and is currently an assistant coach at his alma mater WBHS.

Jay’von “Jay” Jackson

Jay’von “Jay” Jackson

Jay is a Old Dominion University student where he is a major in Health & Physical Education & minor in coaching. Jay is a Boy’s Basketball Coach at Norfolk Collegiate, returning for his 3rd year. He has a strong passion for coaching/training and very excited to continue to purse his dreams!

Terris Sanders

Terris Sanders

Terris is a graduating Senior at The Illustrious Hampton University focusing on Sport Management. Terris has worked with the Binghamton Bulldogs semi-professional team, the SUNY Broome Community College Men’s Basketball team, countless camps in his hometown of Binghamton, NY and is currently an intern with the Hampton University Men’s Basketball team, focusing on skill development. Outside of basketball Terris works as a substitute teacher with Hampton City Schools and in the past worked as an aide to adults with special needs. Terris brings enthusiasm, patience, and an affable personality to The Wave Basketball Club.

Daniel Diaz

Daniel Diaz

Coach Daniel Diaz graduated from James Madison University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. Originally from Northern Virginia, Daniel has been a strength and conditioning/performance coach since graduating college. Through these past few years, he has trained athletes of all ages, skill levels, and sports. He has built great relationships and learned from numerous high level coaches nationwide from attending training camps for the Washington Wizards and Team USA, as well as countless basketball coaching conferences and academies through the years. Coach Diaz is also currently an assistant coach for the Catholic High School Varsity Boys Basketball Team and is a Health and Physical Education Teacher at Renaissance Academy.

Alyshia Allison

Alyshia Allison

Alyshia is a former player of the Campbell University Women’s Basketball team. During her time at Campbell, she appeared in 79 games for the Camels. As team captain, Alyshia led the team to an overall 23-13 winning season in her senior year; which ties the most wins in Campbell Women’s Basketball history. Her vital role led the camels to make an appearance in the Big South Conference finals and the semifinal of the Women’s Basketball Invitational. At Campbell, Alyshia graduated with an undergraduate degree in Sport Management with minors in both Business Administration and Marketing. Continually seeking development in her craft, she is currently working towards her masters in Sport Management at Old Dominion University.
